After spending years with average office chairs, this one actually feels like a serious upgrade.

Wheels first because wow. Easily the smoothest I've ever used. No noise, no resistance, just pure glide. The black ones already look great, but if you get the chrome version, that's just bonus style points. More importantly, they're solid and fit perfectly into the base no wobble, no cheap feel.

The base itself is a tank. Single-piece chrome, heavy, and super stable. If you're someone who rests their feet on it (we all do), it handles that without even flinching. Feels like it ll last years without issues.

Height adjustment is buttery smooth. Not going to pretend I know the technicals of the gas lift, but from a user perspective it just works effortlessly. No jerks, no stiffness.

The core build (seat + back + mechanism) is where this chair really proves its worth. Everything feels dense and well put together. The levers respond exactly how they should. Small tip use them the right way (pull up, not push down), and it works flawlessly.

Comfort is honestly top-tier. The cushioning is soft but supportive, so you don't feel tired even after long hours. Lumbar support hits the right spot, and the fixed armrests actually help keep your posture consistent especially when you lean back and relax.

Headrest deserves a special mention. It not only looks premium but is super functional. The curve supports your head from multiple angles, so whether you lean straight back or sideways, it still feels natural. That subtle hump gives balanced support across your upper back and neck very well designed.

Assembly experience:
They do offer installation support, but if you're someone who likes DIY, it's totally doable. Everything comes in the box tools, screws, even extras. Took me about an hour going through instructions, but you can finish faster with help.

That said, this is probably the only area that could improve. Some screws are quite tight and need extra effort. A couple of longer bolts were slightly tricky to fit, and positioning the headrest at the end takes a bit of patience. Not a dealbreaker, but not the smoothest process either.

Only real downside?
No adjustable armrests. The fixed position works well for me, but if you like customizing height, you might miss that. On the flip side, fixed arms do make the whole chair feel more solid.

Final thoughts:
If you're serious about WFH or long sitting hours, this doesn't feel like an expense it feels like an upgrade. Comfortable, sturdy, and well-designed.

Not perfect, but definitely a chair that stands out.
